Libertyville Christian Church Takes Bake Sale Pre-Orders | News

The Cook’s Settlement Restoration Society was organized in 1974 to restore and maintain the former Christian church building built in 1858. The society eventually intended to lease the building for weddings and other venues.

As part of its fundraising efforts, the society will host a coffee and country bake sale on May 28, with all proceeds used to support the church. The group will begin taking orders for baked goods on May 1. In an update on the event, the company released a list of available baked goods and a contact number for pre-orders.

They will be accepting pre-orders for fruit and pecan pies; dinner and cinnamon rolls; chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies; blueberry and chocolate muffins; and Cranberry Raisin Zucchini Bread.

Pre-order numbers are limited to 40 pies, 20 bun pans, 20 dozen cookies, 10 dozen muffins, and 10 sweet buns.

To order, call 573-747-4044 and leave an order request.
