Wyatt Park Christian Church’s drive-in nativity scene is back after two years

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The drive-in nativity scene at Wyatt Park Christian Church is back after two years.

Canceled last year due to COVID-19, this will be the 30th year the church has put on the Christmas chart, telling the story of Jesus’ birth through ten live drive-in scenes. The crèche will be presented this Friday and Saturday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Wyatt Park Christian says that all creation is the church’s gift to St. Joseph.

“We hope that even if it’s only ten short minutes, whether it’s the first or the last scene, those who go through it will come away encouraged. It’s a labor of love and it’s what the church wants to do. to understand to the community that this is really kind of a gift to the community,” said Pastor Ben Hitzfeld of Wyatt Park Christian Church.

While driving through the nativity scene, attendees can log onto the church’s website to listen to a ten-minute audio that guides the listener through the progression of the nativity scenes, by clicking here.
